Fabric Protection

ProSeal 2 protects your fine fabrics from water-based and oil-based stains, while increasing its resistance to moisture, dust and soiling.  ProSeal 2 can be used on all categories of fabrics, including silks, moires, chintz and velvets, as well as well as trims, fringe, tassels, rugs and wallpaper. We are also able to process extra wide fabrics with ProSeal 2. The finish does not change the look or feel of your fabric and is appropriate for in-home or commercial applications.

Wallpaper Sealing

Wallpaper install professionals request ProSeal 2 for long-lasting protection against water and water-based stains.  This invisible finish provides a water-resistant barrier.  Wallpaper finishing is recommended for wallpapers used in high-humidity areas like bathrooms and kitchens.

Installers prefer working with wallpapers that are sealed with ProSeal 2 because it makes installation quicker and cleanup easier.

Area Rug Protection

Protect your area rugs with ProSeal 2 against water-based and oil-based stains.  We can treat area rugs up to 12 feet by 15 feet to increase their resistance to moisture, dust and soiling.  This treatment is especially useful in high-traffic areas and to increase the life of your rug.

Fire Retardant Fabrics

Our Flame Finishing meets the industry’s most rigorous flammability standards, without impacting the look and feel of your fine fabrics.  Once the fabric is treated, it goes through exacting testing to ensure it meets our high standards, before we issue a Certificate of Flame Resistance.  This finish is perfect for applications in commercial spaces, including hospitality and healthcare.

Our treatment meets NFPA 701 Small Scale and NFPA 260 requirements.

  • NFPA 701 details the most current specifications and test methods for curtains, window shades, draperies, table linens and textile wall hangings.
  • NFPA 260 measures fire resistance to cigarette ignition of upholstered furniture.

Please note, some fabrics based on content may require a sample test before treatment.

Knit Backing for Upholstery

For the ultimate in flexibility, our polyester knit-backing allows you to use light weight and medium weight fabrics in upholstery.  The process strengthens delicate fabrics to add durability for upholstery use.  Fabrics backed for upholstery have increased wear resistance, which gives your upholstered furnishings a longer life.  The process also improves handling while eliminating seam slippage.
